Software Engineer (#7033)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop workflow management platform through full life-cycle
• Design and develop the architecture of new products and applications for HandySoft's federal and commercial sector customers through the integration of BizFlow
• Coordinate joint software development with HandySoft's U.S. partners and leading U.S. information technology companies
• Architect, integrate, and package BizFlow with OEM products; coordinate with HandySoft Korea in developing new products; and develop new products such as Collaborative Content Management software, Collaborative Project Management software, and Collaborative Knowledge Management software based on the workflow engine of BizFlow
• Design object-oriented systems
• Work with optimized relational data modeling and high performing information management systems using commercial J2EE Applications Servers, relational databases, Windows and UNIX operating systerms, and enterprise content management systems; and, work with Workflow/Businesss Process Management Systems and Java-based business application technologies.

Required Business Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop specifications
• Ability to work on problems of limited scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
• Must have strong English language skills and ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with all customers and all staff levels, and within a team environment
• Flexible and able to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines

Required Technical Skills:

2 – 4 four years solid Java and C or C++ experience, Knowledge of: Web Technologies (JSP, HTML, XML, XSL, and Javascript), Microsoft Client and Server Technologies, Unix platforms and Oracle, and Knowledge of Workflow applications. Understanding of Internet related technologies and architectures such as XML, SOAP. Knowledge of development tools and components like MS Visual Studio

Required Education and Experienced:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Information Systems
• 2 – 4 years work experience with optimized relational data modeling and high performing information management systems using commercial J2EE Application Servers, relational databases, Windows and UNIX operating systems, and enterprise content management systems; and, work with Workflow/Business Process Management Systems and Java-based business application technologies
