Associate Marketing Manager (Communications) (#7043)

This position will be based in Falls Church, VA. Some travel may be required. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

• Take responsibility for corporate communications and public relations.
• Craft corporate and product messaging for collateral and website.
• Create public relations strategies and campaigns, write press releases and bylined articles.
• Manage other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge & Experience:

• 3+ Years proven Corporate Communications/Public Relations experience within a high-technology setting strongly preferred.
• Requires strong business and marketing communications savvy and writing skills.
• Exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) software and services a strong plus.

• Ability to develop crisp, clearly differentiated messaging.
• Must be a critical thinker with the ability to grasp visionary concepts.
• Ability to develop and maintain trusting, long-term business relationships.
• Must have well-developed and proven leadership abilities.
• Must have a high level of creativity and “rolled-up sleeves” working style.
• First consideration will be given to candidates with software industry experience.
• Willing and able to travel up to 5%.

Education:

• B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field.
