Action Tracking and Dynamic Collaboration Solutions
Today – many of us are overwhelmed with email with so much of our daily work being assigned and or managed through this basic office tool. We use it to task people to send us information, provide us with status, act upon a request and more. However, once we send an email we have no ability to track the status of those actions and more over, if the individual we task in-turn tasks someone else we have no idea that this “sub-tasking” or delegation has occurred. Not only do we not have visibility into work we have assigned we have no real understanding of the volume of work we or other employees are performing every day.
OfficeEngine™ was deployed by Handysoft using the BizFlow platform to initially deal with this type of tasking and sub-tasking in the federal government. In 2009, Gartner awarded the 2009 BPM Excellence Award to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for their Action Tracking application deployed using the OfficeEngine™ solution. Today, this social BPM solution is used by both Government and Commercial organizations as a stand-alone solution and in conjunction with standard BizFlow BPM solutions to address the ad-hoc and dynamic way in which we need to collaborate to get work done.
