Veteran’s Health Administration

Intro:

The VA’s Veteran’s Health Administration (VHA) is using BizFlow® to accelerate benefits eligibility processing for veterans. BizFlow® is a component of the Enrollment System Redesign (ESR), which will replace and consolidate the legacy systems and the Income Verification Matching (IVM) system used to support veterans’ enrollment and determine eligibility for healthcare benefits.

Overview:

VHA is the nation’s largest integrated healthcare system, providing more than 25 million veterans and their families with patient care and health benefits through 1,264 facilities nationwide. VHA is using BizFlow® for the Enrollment System Version 3.1 Income Verification Replacement and Workflow Integration Project. BizFlow® will integrate with VHA systems to eliminate manual, paper-based eligibility and enrollment workflows, transforming what were lengthy, error-prone processes into simple, transparent work items with same-day turn-around.
