Jardine Lloyd Thompson / Profund – Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) provides Insurance and Reinsurance brokerage, Risk Management advice and Employee Benefit administration and consultancy services. JLT is a Top 5 insurance broker in the UK with 2007 sales of £391m. The company operates more than 100 offices in 35 countries and employs more than 5,000 people worldwide.

JLT started using BizFlow in 2003 to streamline pension administration. Through a series of pilots managed largely by a system integrator partner, JLT rolled out BizFlow applications to offices in Bristol, Reading and Manchester.

During that same time period, JLT acquired Profund, a leading provider of pension administration software in the UK. Before the acquisition, Profund had been looking to include workflow in their product offering. As JLT and Profund assimilated, the newly created Profund business unit found BizFlow highly complimentary to their own suite of pension management software solutions. The company as a whole made a strategic decision to use BizFlow to create Work Manager, a solution incorporating BizFlow to improve the quality and efficiency of pension fund administration through process standardization, automation and monitoring.

Work Manager integrates seamlessly with Profund’s oPen and Classic systems as well as imaging/EDMS tools to give departmental managers, supervisors and team leaders full visibility into pension administration workloads and operational performance.

Profund now “owns” all the application development, roll-out and support for Work Manager at JLT and other customers, including BMW, HBOS, Penn Dragon and SBJ.

HandySoft is excited about its partnership with Profund to deliver customer-driven solutions that solve business needs for improved performance, reduced risk, and lower costs.

Rok Properties (ROK) - ROK is well on its way to becoming "The Nation’s Local Builder™" in the United Kingdom. Rok generated 2006 revenues of £689 million. In 2004 Rok identified a trend in the building industry toward outsourced maintenance. At the same time Rok was engaged by several leading insurance companies to provide reactive maintenance services, supporting and resolving claims from their building tenants and home owner customers. Rok chose BizFlow to develop RokFlow, a core application integrating with insurance companies’ claims systems that ultimately automates the entire maintenance delivery life cycle. Says Richard Gifford, IT Director, "BizFlow is the heart of our RokFlow system. It handles all the documents, from bids to approvals and associated casework. Today RokFlow processes incorporate more than 40 different steps covering job notification to happy customer approval. RokFlow should handle more than 60,000 jobs during 2007. Within those 60,000 jobs/year, RokFlow processes 40 transactions – that’s more than 2.4 million transactions annually running through the application." RokFlow has already contributed largely to Rok’s bottom line by increasing operating profits 113% in 2006 to £2.8 million.

Landesbank Berlin AG (LBB AG) - LBB has its roots in Berliner Sparkasse, which dates back to 1818, and is still an important part of the bank. LBB AG is the universal bank with more than 6,700 employees headquartered in the German capital. In 2006, LBB reported earnings after taxes of EUR 685 million. LBB uses BizFlow® to streamline trade-floor operations, credit card applications and credit card change requests. They follow a Six Sigma approach to ensure proper requirements gathering and validation as well as development and roll-out. Andre Helbig, BPM project manager, explains, “We chose BizFlow® for many reasons. One strength of the tool is that all the BPM components - forms designer, process modeler, business rules engine, activity monitoring - are integrated in one tool. As a result, we don’t have to deal with several different applications. We get one tool to learn, use and maintain. In addition, BizFlow® delivers documentation in both German and English, important for a German bank with global operations.”
