Open Solutions and HandySoft Global Partner to Deploy Process-Driven Solutions to Banks and Credit Unions

HandySoft Global Corp., a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, and Open Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of integrated enabling technologies for financial service providers across the world, today announced a partnership to deploy process-driven solutions to banks and credits unions. According to the terms of the agreement, Open Solutions will provide its clients with integrated access to HandySoft’s BizFlow^® Business Process Management (BPM) solution to enable workflow automation.

HandySoft’s BizFlow^® is a BPM solution enabling financial service providers to improve operational efficiencies and customer services through process automation. By tying together forms associated with enrollment, eligibility, lending and accounts payables with their corresponding data, files, people and routing rules, organizations can eliminate error prone steps while providing improved visibility and collaboration.

Through this partnership, Open Solutions’ clients, particularly Open Solutions’ Digital Document Systems (DDS) clients, will be able to initiate, manage and monitor workflows associated with processes such as new member enrollment, lending, check processing, AP/AR and HR. Digital Document Systems provides a Web-based archival system for enterprise-wide access to scanned documents, reports, receipts and statements. Combining DDS and BizFlow^® provides a complete enterprise workflow foundation wherein documents can automatically trigger and update client-facing activities as well as back-office operations. Together, the solution improves collaboration, reduces transactions costs and enables a paperless environment.
