Veteran's Health Administration Selects HandySoft's BizFlow as Backbone for Benefits Eligibility Case Management System

Vienna, VA - March 07, 2005 - HandySoft Corporation, a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), under the federal Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), has chosen HandySoft's BizFlow® BPM platform as its technology solution for Case Management of VHA Benefits Eligibility.

This selection followed months of research and comparative analysis of BPM providers and workflow solutions conducted by EDS under contract of the VHA. The ultimate objective of the project was to assess and procure a versatile workflow solution to enhance VHA case management of benefits eligibility for implementation across a nationwide network via the Web.

EDS analyzed the products and services of several BPM solution providers, including Filenet, Metastorm, Intalio, TIBCO (Staffware), and HandySoft, with special consideration given to assessing product integration with the existing VHA systems and rules engine. EDS finished their analysis and forwarded their findings to the VA to make a final selection. The VA purchased BizFlow software through an open market sole source award.

More than 40 federal government agencies are currently using BizFlow, HandySoft's award-winning BPM platform.
