What is BizFlow®?
Veteran's Health Administration Selects HandySoft's BizFlow as Backbone for Benefits Eligibility Case Management System
This selection followed months of research and comparative analysis of BPM providers and workflow solutions conducted by EDS under contract of the VHA. The ultimate objective of the project was to assess and procure a versatile workflow solution to enhance VHA case management of benefits eligibility for implementation across a nationwide network via the Web.
EDS analyzed the products and services of several BPM solution providers, including Filenet, Metastorm, Intalio, TIBCO (Staffware), and HandySoft, with special consideration given to assessing product integration with the existing VHA systems and rules engine. EDS finished their analysis and forwarded their findings to the VA to make a final selection. The VA purchased BizFlow software through an open market sole source award.
More than 40 federal government agencies are currently using BizFlow, HandySoft's award-winning BPM platform. In the civilian sector, some of HandySoft's federal government customers include: the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS); the Department of Energy (DOE); the Department of Justice (DOJ); the Food and Drug Administration (FDA); the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA); the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID); the Office of Human Resources of the National Institutes of Health (NIH OHR); the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST); the Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD); and the U.S. Patent and Trade Office (USPTO). Department of Defense clients for HandySoft now include divisions of the Army, Air Force, the Marines, multiple Intel agencies, and the Pentagon.
