HandySoft's BizFlow Wins Top Workflow Excellence Award From WARIA and WfMC

Seoul, Korea and Vienna, VA - October 13, 2005 - HandySoft Global Corporation, a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that it has been awarded the 2005 Global Awards for Excellence in BPM & Workflow Gold Award for the Pacific Rim. This is the fourth year in a row that HandySoft's BizFlow solutions have won an award, and the third time they have won top honors.

The Gold Award recognizes HandySoft's implementation of BizFlow®, its award-winning BPM platform, in the shipbuilding operations of Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), based in Seoul, Korea. SHI utilizes BizFlow to optimize their fabrication management process, enabling employees to manage and monitor the priority and status of various business processes in real-time, providing an alarm notification function for process delays. This was the first application of BPM technology in the Korean shipbuilding industry.

In the future, SHI plans to apply the BizFlow BPM technology throughout all of its operations for enterprise-wide process visualization, not only expanding their application of the BPM system to various business processes among partners, but also making the BPM technology a framework for their IT system.
