What's New in BizFlow 11

BizFlow 11 Office Engine - Dynamic BPM

What you will learn: There are two fundamental types of Processes, Structured (Check the Box) and Unstructured (Dynamic. BizFlow Office Engine gives you the ability to choose the best option for your needs.

The Office Engine course is designed to give students an in-depth look into Office Engine. The course covers installation, setup and configuration as well as an intimate look at the features, functions and benefits of using Office Engine. The class combines lecture with live demonstration. The students will receive a Office Engine Quick Reference Guide along with their course materials.

BizFlow 11 Advanced Reporting (Ad Hoc User)

What you will learn:

BizFlow Advanced Reporting recognizes three distinctive communities in an enterprise environment in regard to reporting needs. Those are Business Users, Power Users, and Designer/IT Users.

In the BizFlow Advanced Reporting (Ad Hoc) course students will learn how to create reports in the Ad Hoc Reports menu. Use Adhoc Reports to: Run a background execution, schedule a report, add parameters to reports, add prompts to a report and run reports from a Report List.

Who should attend: This course is designed for business analysts, programmers and administrators who need a better understanding of BizFlow Advanced Reporting and whom would be responsible for creating and running Ad Hoc Reports.

BizFlow 11 Advanced Reporting (Report Designer)

What you will learn: In the BizFlow Advanced Reporting (Designer) course students will learn how to manage the Report Repository, Add Reports to the Repository, understand the Jasper Server Plug-in, how to publish reports to end users. Also students will gain an understanding of how to use the scheduler, create and manage Domains, use the Import/Export facilities, also Configure the Advance Report Server.

BizFlow 11 Forms Design Module

What you will learn: The Forms Design Module focuses on building forms using BizFlow. Forms are documents that provide the functionality necessary to display and process information in an automated workflow. During the BizFlow Forms Design Module students will learn about the various types of functions available in creating forms. In addition, students will: practice creating tables; practice defining cell types and their properties; practice setting process variables through the BizFlow form; practice drawing and inserting objects; review database components; review the XML document (or schema) import feature; review the web service component feature; and receive an overview of Forms Designer scripting. A brief description and use of BizFlow’s Process Designer capabilities is also included in this one day Forms Designer course. The training engagement combines classic classroom lecture with product demonstration. Students will have an opportunity to build process definitions in hands on exercises.

Who should attend: This course is designed for programmers and developers who are responsible for designing forms to be used within automated workflows.

BizFlow 11 Process Design Module

What you will learn: The Process Design Module focuses on building process definitions using BizFlow. Participants will learn about the various types of activities available in creating process definitions. In addition, students will practice defining activity properties, assigning participants, setting response groups, working with conditions, and applying process variables within a process definition. A brief description and use of BizFlow’s Form Designer capabilities is also included in this one day Process Designer course. The training engagement combines classic classroom lecture with product demonstration. Students will have an opportunity to build process definitions in hands on exercises.

Who should attend: This course is designed for programmers and developers who are responsible for integrating BizFlow with external applications.

Cancellation Policy

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND A COURSE

If you are unable to attend a BizFlow instructor-led training course for which you have registered, you may send a substitute free of charge. If you cannot send a substitute or otherwise need to cancel your class registration, please provide written notice to the HandySoft University Registrar via e-mail at registrar@handysoft.com or by fax at 703-641-2815. Cancellation requests received by HandySoft 10 days or more prior to the class start date will receive full credit for another class. Cancellation requests received 9 days or less prior to the class start date will result in a 50% penalty.

Will HANDYSOFT EVER NEED TO CANCEL A CLASS?

HandySoft reserves the right to cancel a training class due to insufficient enrollment, inclement weather, or other events beyond our control. In the unlikely event a BizFlow class is cancelled, we will notify you as soon as possible. You may choose to receive a full refund of your registration fees or credit for another class. HandySoft will not be responsible for any cancellation costs you incur, such as airline tickets and hotel reservations.
